Local non-profit association seeks part-time office assistance for 20 hours per week. Ideal candidate MUST be organized, a self-starter, and detail-oriented who is able to work independently and multitask. Individual must be computer-savvy, including skills in Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher). QuickBooks will also be used on a routine basis.
Must have administrative experience, customer service experience, 40 cwpm typing, good phone voice, and enjoy working with the public.
Duties include answering phones, scheduling meetings, filing, preparing correspondence, faxing and copying documents, sending e-mails, and light data entry.
Some limited amount of driving may be necessary, so must have valid driver's license and proper vehicle insurance. Company vehicle is available for usage.
Company is a drug-free workplace and applicant must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Typing test and a work sample will be administered prior to applicants scheduled for an interview.
Work Hours will be 1 p.m. -- 6 p.m. (20 hrs. week); Monday thru Thursday; with no flexibility in the hours. Students interested in applying MUST work during semester breaks.
