BETSY Labrador Retriever Puppy Female in Tallahassee, Florida

My story
A194945 Betsy is an itty bitty lab mix pup that came to us after having been abandoned in a box.

After being treated for parasites and fungal infections, she is finally on the mend and well on her way to being the perfect pet in every way!

Her foster mom says `Betsy is an exceptional pup. She is very smart and has been reaching all of the normal puppy milestones. This little one will be the perfect companion with consistent training and exercise because she is willing to learn, very focused, and always ready to sprint around the house. At this young age, she already loves to please and is up and at attention the moment she hears your voice. She is highly trainable and has already learned the sit command in exchange for getting the things she wants, such as food and toys . She has also learned to stop bad behavior (like chewing the training pads or gate) with a firm `NO.` She loves to play tug with her rope knot toy and she wins every time! Her crate training has been phenomenal. She does excellent with confinement even when she knows there is movement and action around the house. She loves her safe-haven crate and goes in there to lay down (with the door wide open) so I can clean her play pen area. The only time she whines in the playpen is to let me know she needs her space to be cleaned up. Sometimes she whines for attention when in her pen but stops and self-soothes with a toy or her Piggie within a minute or two.`

Like most puppies, she`s still learning how to use her teeth appropriately and not chew on delicious shoes and furniture, but with a consistent routine and patient pet parent, she should catch on in no time at all!
