My story
I`m Milo! I`m about 44lbs. I was found wandering around a gas station parking lot and came to the shelter for my safety. My owners were never found and now I need a new set! Unfamilar with being in a shelter or a kennel, this place was a bit of a shock but I am adapting ok as I am learning the ropes and have already figured out what to do for treats (sit quietly!) and what to do to get walks quicker (also sit quietly & look really, really sad). It appears that I have had some housetraining and maybe so crate training too, but I probably will need a refresher course in a new home, don`t worry though, I am smart and eager to learn more! I am fairly calm in nature and seem to do ok with other dogs although I don`t seek out their attention so I might want to meet any future dog siblings first. I would prefer a squirrel-free and cat-free home as it appears I may be a bit too interested into them to coexist peacefully. Mostly, I am a home body, quick study who just wants a soft bed and some praise for being a good boy. I have all the makings of a best friend and have every intention of showering you with them when you meet me, just give me a chance!
