My story
I`m Nina! I`m 56lbs. I`ve had a stroke of bad luck. I first arrived at the shelter in the fall of 2021 when my owner was experiencing some issues and I was found wandering around. A few months later my owner became homeless and surrendered me to the shelter. I was quickly adopted and that had a change in lifestyle and was not longer able to keep me. He adopted me to another person who lost their housing a short time later. She surrendered me back to the shelter hoping that I would find a lifetime home. One would think that makes me a flawed dog, but the people here are testiment that I am not, I`ve just had some bad luck. I am social and playful with people and other dogs and I`ve lived with cats! I love to play with toys (especially Kongs) and it appears I am housetrained & crate trained (and maybe housetrained too). I was lucky to have spent a brief time in fostercare where my people adored me and said I was a wonderful companion. If you are looking to give a wonderful girl the chance at stability and lifelong home, don`t delay, I`m not cut out for shelter life and just want to be sleeping in bed with my person again!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt NINA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
