My story
I`m Skylar!

I`m 46lbs. I was surrendered to the shelter because my owner was left without a place to live. She said that I am active, independent, talkative, playful and friendly. I have lived with both cats and other dogs and my favorite toy is a rope bone. I know my basic commands and I am both housetrained and crate trained. I would do best in a home without small children (I`m sensitive to noise and chaos).

I enjoy playing chase with other dogs and going on walks with the volunteers. At the shelter, I was pretty shut down when I arrived - this place isn`t like living in a home and I was super stressed. Through it all, I shined and was adopted out but the cat in the home was not a fan and attacked me so I had to be returned. I am trying to stay hopeful that my savior is just around the corner. I am a sweet, sensitive soul who is eager to find her way back under the covers in bed.
